Appeal
Denied...
The American Arbitration Association (ABA) Election Company certified the results of the 2011 NWIAL election on 4-28-11 and the results have not changed. Losing candidate Corner filed an appeal as is her right and which she does every time. The results of these appeals is that no election has ever been overturned and Mary has never won. Her appeal in the 2011 election was denied on by the National Union in a letter signed by President Guffey on 8-1-11. When the national union president takes the time to sign a letter denying your appeal you should read it and believe it. Instead Mary has sent letters to management stating she is president. She and Maria Porch are distributing letters stating Maria has "declared" Mary Corner president. Their claims are false. The fact that they are acting on them as if true shows they are out of touch with reality and this is very disturbing.
Going
Too Far ...
Many of us are familiar with Mary Corners antics but her recent actions are of a more serious nature. On 7-27-11 she followed me in a Pace van with passenger Maria Porch Clark from the Union Hall onto the expressway. Maria motioned for me to pull over. They followed me to Busse Hub and Maria came to my car to demand I give her the keys to the Union Hall. The next day Mary called and left a message at the Union Hall demanding that I turn over the keys or she would have a locksmith change the locks. I called the police and Mary called back while the officer was there. She told Mary what she was doing by following me was harassment but Mary would not listen. Later that day Mary and Maria came to the Union Hall with two Elmhurst police officers to try to get them to let them in the building but Dan Mulligan and I told them what was going on and they told Mary and Maria this was a civil matter.
A
Civil Case...
The next day Mary mailed me court papers she filed as her own attorney for an emergency hearing asking the court to compel me to turn the office over to her. The basis for all of this insanity is three officers including myself showed as a "no deduction" on the dues check off list because we pay our dues directly to the National Union. Due can only be deducted from an employee's USPS payroll check and every full time officer shows as a "no deduction" for dues. Dave Baskin was full time prior to 9-11-10 and Linda Retel was off of work due to NRP so we showed as "no deductions" and paid our union dues directly. This issue was addressed by the National Union which provided a letter to the Election Committee stating all three candidates were current in their dues. The only member of the Election Committee who wanted to disqualify us was Maria Porch-Clark. Since Mary lost Maria and Mary think they can just declare Mary the winner, but that is ridiculous.
